Busy
I've been so busy lately, I haven't had much time to write in this blog. My teacher would be so sad. :(. Yesterday, I went on a trip to Toledo to visit my cousins. It's the first time I saw them this summer, and we had a good time. Whiffle ball in the backyard until the darkness came, just like when we were little. :)It's still cold this summer. I don't know what it is, but it's terrible. The whole year has been cold, and we had so much more snow than usual. Mike came over today, and we played basketball. It's been a while since we did that. Everyone has been way too busy. Sometimes I wish I was 10 years old again, so things could be simple.

In shape?
I need to do more to stay in shape this summer. It's so easy to let things get out of hand when you don't have a routine. I've been so busy with everything and getting ready for this fall, that I've gained around 5-7 pounds. I used to bike regularly with my friends, but everyone is doing their own thing this summer so much, we haven't done that. I am going to start jogging 3 or 4 times a week and lifting weights. I'm worried about gaining weight during college, but it's already happening. I get to get a grip.

My Mom
I'm getting to the point where I know I will miss my Mom when I leave for school. We've always been friends, but I didn't know if I would actively MISS her. But, now I do. We watched a movie and watched TV tonight, and just talked about my future. I can always talk about everything with her. She was really young when she had me, so we've always been more friends than most sons and daughters are, I think. I mean, how many of them watch the Real World together all the time? :) I'm really thankful for everything she's done for me in my life, and I owe everything to her. So, thank you, Mom.

2nd Date and Odd n' Ends
So, I went on a second date with Jordan. She's the girl I met at the restaurant. We went mini-golfing, then walked around the mall after. Things are really going well. Why couldn't I have met her when I was in school? Now I have to go away to college soon.
Jeff and I are going to have lunch tomorrow. I meet him about once a week or so because he gets a lunch break from work. The weather continues to be pretty cold around here. I can't remember a colder summer. Why does the world seem to be getting colder instead of warmer?
I'm still trying to get things together for college. I talked with my roommate again, and we are getting along great. We're going to get there a little early and go shopping for carpeting and chairs. There is a place near campus that sells these really awesome beanbag chairs. And he has a strobe light he is bringing!! :)

The Day After
Last night was awesome! The weather was not very good, but we didn't let it stop us. LOL, SO many interesting stories to tell, but I don't think anyone would want me to tell them on here. ;)How should I describe it? I know I WON'T use the word "epic". Every single person who I know that uses that word is a grade-A douche bag or plain crazy. That's how you can tell. Anyway, we had a great time. These are inside jokes, but "diaper boy" "Fred Fall-down", "hard-ass baby" and "lemon frog" pretty much sums it up! :)

4th of July
We're getting ready to go out for a full day of activites. First, it's lunch at our favorite restaurant, then we're heading to the festival in Blue Ash where the fireworks will be.
All of the normal crowd is going. This is our tradition. We've been going here for a long time, ever since we were kids.
My sister is going with us, and she's bringing her friend.
Gretchen Wilson is performing at 8 o'clock. I'm not a huge fan of country, but it will be fun with all the people.
It's sad because of everything going on with my friends, and the fact that it might be the last time we're ever able to go to these together. I'm going to savor this time while I have it.
Happy 4th everyone!!

Congrats, MJ!
I've just been told that Mike was named the Intern of the Month for the marketing firm he's working with this summer!! That's really a big deal. He gets gift certificates and concert passes. Of course, the recognition is the important part. He wants to get involved with business for a career, and this is fantastic start. Way to go! I'm proud of you! :)
Boom, Boom, Bang@!
Delta loves to fly and it shows! :) lol.
It was late and I was going to bed when I posted that last blog. For a little background, this is something that our circle of friends say to each other. We say it at the most inappropriate times just to get a laugh. It doesn't really have any meaning, except to be strange and offputting. It started when Aaron couldn't stop saying it for like 2 weeks straight. It's an airplane slogan and they use it during Reds games. You have to say it in a really strong and professional voice just like the announcers do.
Just say it out of the blue. If we're at a restaurant, the waiter will ask us a question, and somebody will blurt out, "Delta loves to fly and it shows"! LOL. We were in class one time and this guy vomited as he was trying to run out of the room to the bathroom. Without missing a beat, Aaron yells, "Delta loves to fly and it shows!" Haha...I think you get the idea, but you would have to know us and our sense of humor to understand it. It will be one of my best memories of my friends.
Anywho, we have the 4th of July celebration tomorrow. I was going to talk about it in this blog, but I dont' have time now. I'll update later, hopefully. I know your excited. :)

Going, going, gone?
I know I said I wouldn't talk about personal things about my friends in my first blog entry, but I'm 99.5% sure nobody reads this blog anyway. Some things that are happening are making my world crumble. Much more is happening, but I'll talk about just a few of them.
I just don't know what to do about them anymore. Anway, I'll probably update later tonight or tomorrow. Peace.
